In addition, we have a major outreach to homeless in the greater Pomona Valley through our Caring In Action (CIA) organization that mobilizes the church and the community of Diamond Bar.

Peter & Tammy Russell are long-time missionaries to Africa. Tammy grew up here at DC3 as a teenager. They are now working in Tanzania with "Wild Hope" missions among the urban poor in Unga Limited through discipleship and micro-enterprise training. They are also focusing on ministry training and inter-church partnerships. This past summer, 24 members of DC3 spent two weeks working with the Russells in Arusha. Children: Skyler, 16; Chase, 14; Leighton, 8; Sienna, 8.

Through this ministry we support five children in Kenya who have lost both of their parents to AIDS. Because of our help they are able to live with family members and attend school. A team from DC3 had the privilege of meeting with several of "our children" and purchasing school clothes and supplies for them while in Kenya this past summer.

Terry & Margie Jones are involved with Sequoia Ministries International, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Margie is a former children's minister here at DC3.
